Is AI recommending your painting company? Find out in 60 seconds.

Give us your trade, city and website. We run twenty real buying questions through ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity, screenshot every answer, and send you who got named, what the engines read to decide, and which of the six signals you are missing. No call. No card. Two business days.

Four fields. We do the rest.

    What we check

Which AI engines do you check, and what do you ask them?

All four engines a homeowner actually uses. Each one reads the web differently, so a business can be named in one and invisible in the other three. Only about one domain in ten is cited by both ChatGPT and Perplexity for the same question.

    ChatGPT

Searches through Bing. Weighs business listings and pages that answer the question.

Google AI Overviews and AI Mode

Reads the Google index, your Business Profile and your structured data.

    Gemini

Google's index plus schema. Favours pages with question headings and clean FAQ blocks.

    Perplexity

Cites Reddit, forums and recent content more than any other engine. Shows its sources.

The shape of the twenty questions

Built from the phrasing homeowners actually type, with your city and services filled in.

    • >Best [service] painter in [city] with good reviews
    • >How much does it cost to paint a house in [city]
    • >Painter in [city] who can start this month
    • >[City] cabinet refinishing company recommendations
    • >Is [your company name] a good painter
    What you get back

What does the AI visibility check include?

    The prompt log

Twenty buying questions for your city, run in all four engines, with a screenshot of each answer. You see exactly who gets named and which pages the engine read to decide.

    Your visibility score

How many of the twenty answers name you, how many name a competitor, and how many name nobody local at all. Nobody local is the most common result, and the easiest to win.

    The gap list

Which of the six signals you are missing: Bing indexing, answer-first pages, structured data, entity consistency, review recency, third-party mentions. Ranked by what moves first.

    A straight recommendation

Fix the site you have, or rebuild it. If it is fixable we say so. The audit is free either way and there is no call to book to get it.

Why does AI visibility matter for a painting company?

Forty-five percent of consumers used an AI tool to find a local business in the last year, up from six percent the year before. Google AI Overviews now appear on roughly one search in four. When the answer names two or three painters and you are not one of them, the homeowner never sees your ad, your Maps listing or your website. The click never happens. The check tells you whether that is happening in your city right now.

    FAQ

    Questions about the check

What is an AI visibility check?

It is a test of whether ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity name your business when someone in your city asks for what you do. We run twenty real buying questions through all four engines, screenshot the answers, and report who was named, what sources the engines read, and which signals you are missing.

    Is it really free?

Yes. You give us your trade, city and website. We send the prompt log, the score and the gap list within two business days. There is no call required and no card. Some owners then hire us to fix what the check found, and some fix it themselves with the gap list. Both are fine.

What do you need from me?

Your business name, trade, the city you want to win, and your website address. That is the whole form. If you have a Google Business Profile we find it ourselves.

How is this different from an SEO audit?

An SEO audit tells you where you rank on Google. This tells you whether an AI engine says your name out loud. The two overlap, and a painter can rank third on Maps while being absent from every AI answer in town. This check measures the answer, not the ranking.

What happens if the check shows I am already named?

Then we tell you that, show you the screenshots, and point out which prompts you are still missing. Being named for one question and absent for the other nineteen is common. The gap list still applies.
